🍰 Coffee cake

Ingredients  

•⁠  ⁠1 cup of sugar  

•⁠  ⁠1 cup of wheat flour  

•⁠  ⁠6 eggs  

•⁠  ⁠1 tablespoon of baking powderr  

•⁠  ⁠1 teaspoon of vanilla extract  

•⁠  ⁠½ cup of milk  

•⁠  ⁠½ cup of strong coffee (freshly brewed)  

•⁠  ⁠1 pinch of salt  


Preparation  

1.⁠ ⁠Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a 22cm diameter mold.  

2.⁠ ⁠In a large bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar until you get a light and fluffy mixture.  

3.⁠ ⁠Add the vanilla and hot coffee, mixing well.  

4.⁠ Incorporate the flour, baking powder and a pinch of salt, alternating with the milk, until you achieve a homogeneous dough.  

5.⁠ ⁠Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and bake for 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.  

6.⁠ ⁠Let it cool before unmolding.  


Optional: You can sprinkle icing sugar on top or serve with a light coffee syrup to enhance the flavor.
