🍮 ☕ Coffee flan to prepare at home:  


Ingredients

•⁠  ⁠4 eggs  

•⁠  ⁠500 ml of whole milk  

•⁠  ⁠150 g of sugar  

•⁠  ⁠1 cup of strong coffee (about 100 ml)  

•⁠  ⁠100 g of additional sugar for the caramel  

•⁠  ⁠1 teaspoon of vanilla extract (optional)  


Preparation

1.⁠ ⁠Caramel:  

   - Place the 100g of sugar in a pan over medium heat.  

   - Let it melt and turn golden without stirring too much.  

   - Pour the caramel into the bottom of a flan mold and spread it evenly.  


2.⁠ Flan mixture:  

   - Beat the eggs with the sugar until you have a smooth mixture.  

   - Add the milk, coffee, and vanilla, mixing gently.  


3.⁠ ⁠Cooking:  

   - Pour the mixture over the caramel in the mold.  

   - Place the mold inside a tray with hot water (bain-marie).  

   - Bake at 180°C for 45–50 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.  


4.⁠ ⁠Cooling and demolding:  

   - Let it cool to room temperature and then refrigerate for at least 4 hours.  

   - Unmold by running a knife around the edges and turning it out onto a plate.  


✨ Result: a smooth flan, with an intense coffee aroma and the sweet contrast of caramel.
